Description: This webinar will review the historical use of continuous ECG monitoring in early outpatient (Phase 2) cardiac rehabilitation, including safety and relevant insurance regulations. The rationale and research regarding non-ECG monitored cardiac rehabilitation will be discussed. Considerations for moving a patient off of continuous ECG monitoring will be explored along with who should remain on telemetry during exercise. Lastly, contemporary models of titrated ECG monitoring will be presented and discussed.
