Advocate for your career by coming to Washington, D.C., for Day on the Hill (DOTH)! Registration is complimentary! Advocacy training will occur the evening of Monday, March 5, 2018, while Tuesday, March 6 is set aside for you to schedule visits to your elected officials on the Hill.
Your elected officials who vote on legislation, and make Medicare decisions, stay informed on what is important to us as constituents and providers of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. At DOTH, you have the opportunity to meet with your two U.S. Senators, as well as your state’s U.S. House of Representatives, and represent your state in those Congressional offices.
Especially in this time of looking for “what works best,” we need to be more attentive to how changes shape the services we provide, and less secretive about how beneficial our services are; otherwise, cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation will remain the best kept secrets in secondary prevention.
