ECG Webinar Series: From Fundamentals to Advanced Interpretation | Live Webinar #2: Arrhythmias Part I

Description

Presented by Franklin Zimmerman, MD, FAACVPR

Topics Covered in this Webinar: Electrophysiology of sinus rhythm and calculating HR, Using laddergrams for arrhythmia analysis, Complex cornucopia (early and late), Heart block, and Supraventricular arrhythmias.

Webinar Description: This webinar will begin the discussion of arrhythmias, starting with the electrophysiology of normal sinus rhythm and the technique of calculating heart rate both for regular and irregular rhythms. The technique of using laddergrams for arrhythmia analysis will be described and these techniques will then be used to illustrate and diagnose ectopic complexes and heart block. This webinar will conclude with the interpretation of supraventricular arrhythmias (SVT/MAT/Afib/Aflutter).

Webinar Learning Objectives: At the completion of this webinar, attendees will be able to:
1. Discuss basic electrophysiology for the cardiac rehab specialist.
2. Learn the proper calculation of heart rate in the presence of arrhythmias.
3. Recognize a variety of supraventricular arrhythmias, ectopic complexes and AV block.
4. Learn how to construct a laddergram to better understand the mechanism of arrhythmias.
