This presentation will target Health care professionals working in Cardiovascular Rehabilitation who may not have background in understanding of the musculoskeletal system and conditions that occur post cardiovascular events and also with aging.  These individuals working in cardiovascular rehabilitation should be assessing the musculoskeletal system prior to and during exercise and provide interventions to assist the individual in obtaining the optimal rehabilitation.  In addition, clients entering cardiovascular rehabilitation should also be assessed for impairments with outcome measures that can show change following interventions in cardiovascular rehabilitation.

Learning Objectives
1.The learner will be able to identify common musculoskeletal impairments found in the cardiovascular rehabilitation population
2. The learner will be able to assess for general musculoskeletal impairments
3. The learner will be able to provide  3 interventions for common musculoskeletal impairments found in the cardiovascular rehabilitation population
